Our Philosophy and Mission
Built with our users in mind.
If the Covid19 pandemic taught us anything, it is the importance of remaining connected. Technology is not a luxury rather it is a necessity, especially for our most vulnerable populations. Nucleus is not an off-the-shelf solution. The product is designed based on the needs of our end users in the home care, senior living, assisted living and developmental disability communities. Our innovation is inspired because of the changing needs of the industry, and we constantly update the platform based on direct feedback from our partners and their residents.
We are dedicated to your success. It is our mission to focus on your needs, deliver technology solutions that enrich the lives of our users, and enable your organization to operate more efficiently and profitably.
A partner, not a vendor.
When you select Nucleus for your organization, we promise that you are not just our client and we are not just your vendor. We are partners. As partners, we will be frequently consulting with you about features you want to see; willing to create integrations with your existing systems; and happy to customize Nucleus for your organization.
But even more than gaining our technical expertise, it is our mission that being a partner means that we care about you and your organization on a personal level. You invest your time and energy into providing the best care possible for your clients, and we want to assist you in that lofty and worthwhile goal.
Here to care for the vulnerable.
Nucleus was founded in 2013 as a consumer company focused on building a wireless video intercom system. Backed by leading venture capitalists and major corporations (including Amazon and Foxconn), it launched a cutting-edge product in 2016 that quickly sold over 30,000 units in its first few months.
As customers began using the product, it was clear that the most frequent and important use case was for families taking care of their vulnerable relatives. After some additional market research, in 2017 we decided to focus exclusively on building a product for those in senior living, assisted living and home care. With a shortage of available caregivers, the vulnerable population and their loved ones expect and demand technology to help fill that gap. Nucleus is filling that gap by thoughtfully designing products exclusively for them.
Nucleus is headquartered in NYC.

Playing ball with the guys
Avi began at NucleusCare as the Vice President of Sales and took the reins as CEO at the beginning of 2020. Unbeknownst to Avi was that his first weeks as CEO would coincide with the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. NucleusCare was in high demand, but the company faced enormous logistical challenges due to the pandemic. Avi decided to temporarily move all operations, including fulfillment, logistics, and inventory into his home ensuring the stability of NucleusCare. This resulted in significant growth for the company, but more importantly it allowed for NucleusCare to continue connecting our most vulnerable population with their loved ones and caregivers. Being able to come to work everyday knowing that his team is enabling meaningful connections for the most vulnerable populations drives Avi to work harder. Avi is inspired by the NucleusCare team and their dedication to the company mission.
Avi lives on Long Island, NY with his wife of 20 years and two teenage children. Avi volunteers as an emergency medical technician in his ‘free’ time. He can also be found cheering on the NY Rangers, Mets, & Jets.
