How do I personalize the device before it's shipped?

After placing your order, you’ll receive an SMS with a link to our Enrollment Form. Simply click the link and follow the steps to personalize the device with the information of the person it's intended for.

What happens if I don't fill out the Enrollment Form?

If the Enrollment Form isn't completed, the device will still work, but it will be preloaded with the details of the person who placed the order. For a more personalized experience, we recommend completing the form as soon as possible! Please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service if you have any questions or need help with these steps. Our team is always happy to help!

How do family members add photos to a Nucleus device?

Using the Nucleus InTouch app, quickly and easily add photos to a Nucleus device. Device contacts must first download our app for iOS or Android. In the app select “Photos” and then click the “+” icon in the lower right corner of the app. Allow the app access to your photo library, and select which images to share. These images will instantly appear as a slideshow on the home screen of the Nucleus device for your loved one to enjoy.

Does Nucleus require WIFI?

Nucleus can be used with an individual’s residential wireless internet, requiring a WiFi connection to make video and audio calls. You can add the WiFi credentials before the device is shipped, so it’s connected to the internet and ready to use right out of the box or simply follow the setup instructions when booting up the device, and once connected, Nucleus is ready to go. We also offer a cellular data plan as a backup for an added monthly charge.

How do I keep my Nucleus device up to date?

Nucleus devices are automatically updated periodically to ensure security and improve features as we release them to our growing technology platform. There is no need to manually update your Nucleus device.

Can I call my family from my Nucleus device, or can I only receive calls?

Both incoming and outgoing calls can be made with Nucleus. Incoming calls will appear with the caller ID and photo, where they can be accepted or declined. To make an outgoing call, simply tap on the avatar of a family member shown on the device’s home screen to instantly connect the call.

Do I have to remember a login and password to use my Nucleus device?

No, Nucleus arrives already configured and ready to use, with no logins or passwords required.

What is your return policy?

We offer a $100 USD refund on Nucleus devices with a monthly subscription when returned in good condition. For annual subscriptions, you’ll get a refund for the remaining months if you return the device within the first 9 months of purchase.
